CYFSA -- A Nonprofit Organization -- Supporting Youth and their Families

Charity Youth Family Services Agency (CYFSA) is a nonprofit agency that provides services directly to high-risk youth from urban low-income communities. Each year, thousands of U.S. youth run away from home or are asked to leave their homes and become homeless because of domestic violence, abuse, neglect or poverty. CYFSA runaway and homeless youth counselors provide street outreach and work with emergency shelters, longer-term transitional living and maternity group home programs to serve and protect these young people.

CYFSA helps create and strengthen community-based services that meet the immediate needs of runaway and homeless youth under 21 years of age. In addition, CYFSA tries to reunite young people with their families or locate appropriate alternative placements.

CYFSA is a leader in the field of non-profit youth street outreach services, and our expertise and scope are unparalleled.

Our dedicated counselors, case managers, peer and family support partners and volunteers contribute their years of expertise to all CYFSA services. Above all, they genuinely care about individuals and strive to bring hope and integrity to the lives of young people by providing culturally appropriate and strength-based service plans to youth and families.
